Good news Charlotte fashion lovers. WSOC-TV is reporting that two designer stores are set to open up in Phillips Place which is in SouthPark. The open-air shopping center is home to retailers including Bellezza, Eileen Fisher, J.McLaughlin, Marmi, Peter Miller, and more. It’s also home to restaurants like Southern Pecan, RH, Limani, The Palm, and PF Changs. And this fall Phillips Place will welcome alice + olivia as well as Jenni Kayne.

According to the Phillips Place website, the stores are described in this way:

alice + olivia: “Launched in 2002, alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet is a brand that allows customers to express their personal style.” I am obsessed with bright colors in the designs featured on alice + olivia social media accounts. This line is definitely my style!

Jenni Kayne: “California lifestyle brand, Jenni Kayne, inspires women to live well every day. From uniform staples to the elements of an elevated home, Jenni Kayne creates effortless essentials without sacrificing style or comfort.” Jenni Kayne, looks like they are about soft, sophisticated neutrals. This is a level of style I have yet to achieve, but they do it well.

Veronica Beard, a sportswear brand is also set to open in Phillips Place in the coming months. Stay tuned for more info, and be sure to check out both of these highly anticipated stores when they open in Phillips Place this fall.

North Carolina Town Voted One Of Best Small Towns For Shopping

USA Today recently had their readers vote for their “10 best” campaign. One of those categories was “The Best Small Towns for Shopping”. And one North Carolina town made the top 10 best small towns for the shopping list! I’ve never been to this mountain town, so a visit may be in order. Summer is the perfect time to travel and enjoy the mainly open air shopping districts on this list. I’m surprised that I have only been to one of these towns (and it’s actually the farthest one away…go figure!) But I have bookmarked multiple of these that I can’t wait to visit. Shopping and historic towns are some of my favorite things.

It’s not too late to plan your summer getaway and each of these small towns offers a shopping lover’s paradise! Especially if you are in to unique and or handmade items. Some of these are mountain towns there could be a good winter destination as well. As long as you don’t mind the cold that is.  We’ve got multiple areas of the country covered, so whether you want to fly or drive one of these is doable!
