I am a huge fan of Urban Decay makeup and I have been for years. When I wear makeup, which hasn't been a lot since the pandemic started, I always get compliments when I rock my Urban Decay Purple Eyeliner. Their eyeliners don't smudge and they last all day. Hard to beat that!

The Urban Decay x Prince Collection will feature smoky eyeliners, velvety eye shadows, setting powder and more. Urban Decay developed the line with Damaris Lewis, a model and dancer who worked closely with the late musician. The seven-piece makeup collection will honor Prince's memory and honor his most iconic works.

This set won't be cheap though. If you want it all: the U Got the Look Eye Shadow Palette, Let's Go Crazy Eye Shadow, Kajal Eyeliners in So Dark and When Doves Cry, Liquid Highlighter, All Nighter Powder, and Multitasker Brush, you'll be in for $250.  The colors are SO gorgeous though!

One of my fondest memories of the 80's is seeing the 1984 Prince flick "Purple Rain". I was 14 years old in 1984, in the eighth grade, and a group of us all got together and saw the movie. The soundtrack, as we all know, is amazing! One of my friends was such a huge Prince fan, that after seeing the movie, she painted her bedroom all purple. Her parents weren't thrilled. LOL!

I'm not sure I'll be able to swing he $250 for the whole collection. It's hard to justify that purchase when I don't wear makeup lots. Maybe I can buy each piece separately and eventually get the whole collection.

The Urban Decay x Prince Collection will drop May, 27. Details in the video below.
