The traffic lights and grass we walk on are green. The trees we see blooming and the weeds we hate to see are green. The color green dominates North Carolina, and we have a lot of it. So, in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, here are 15 things that are green and we love in North Carolina.
Did you know green is one of the most common colors found in nature? We actually have the green river here in North Carolina. In fact, my decision to move to North Carolina was partly inspired by green. The campus of the university of UNCC was entirely green, and I loved it. Green is often regarded as a symbol of life, nature, and energy. Growing, harmonizing, and reproducing are associated with this color. Green represents nature’s healing power and the beginning of a new chapter in life.
