William Shatner To Host New Space-Themed Reality Show
http://gty.im/1473987915 If you’re a fan of reality shows, this may be one to watch this summer. William Shatner is hosting a new space-themed reality show for Fox. The new competition series is called ‘Stars on Mars’, however, no one is actually traveling to Mars.
The new show, according to Deadline, will feature celebrities competing against each other as they complete in missions. The participants will face numerous challenges that simulate life on Mars. Celebrities that aren’t performing well will be sent back to Earth.
Star-Trek legend and actor William Shatner will be back in the captain’s chair and will serve as the host. He’ll be giving the participants instructions from Mission Control. Only one ‘celebronaut’ will remain at the end of the show.
According to the official description of the show, ‘Stars on Mars” will send these famous rookie space travelers where no one has gone before and reveal who has what it takes to survive life on Mars.’ So, who’s appearing on the show and competing? Fox isn’t saying and nothing’s leaked yet. The preview trailer is only 16 seconds, and there’s no hint on the contestants in it.
