Two North Carolina stargazing destinations were named among the best in the country. This is according to a new Inghams report. It looked at the best but” lesser-known DarkSky parks in the USA”. To determine this list of places perfect for stargazing Ingham’s looked at Google Reviews and AllTrails data to see which locations have received the highest reviews from visitors.
You may be asking the question “What is a DarkSky park?”. It is a park that is certified and committed to preserving and protecting the dark spots through “responsible lighting policies and public education”. The Dark Sky Places on this list are ” locations with a low number of Google searches but super high review scores”. Thus giving us a list of the lesser-known but best stargazing.
