But renting in some cities is easier than others and new research reveals the best places to do it. A North Carolina city made the list as ApartmentAdvisor’s new study revealed the Most Rent-Friendly Cities in 2024 list.
They researched 98 major U.S. cities looking at factors like ease of renting, affordability, tenant protection laws and quality of life. Cities were rated on vacancy rates, demand, new residential construction, desirability, the median income-to-median rent ratio, rental property price trends and more.
Based on all of that, they name Raleigh, North Carolina, as the most rent-friendly city.
