Two Dead, Dozens Injured In South Carolina After Amtrak Train Collides With Freight Train
Heartbreaking news out of Lexington County this morning as an Amtrak train and freight train collided overnight.
In the early hours of the morning, a crash between an Amtrak train and freight train occurred in South Carolina.

The crash has resulted in two fatalities and at least 116 injuries.

According to WSOC, 139 people were aboard the Amtrak train at the time the accident occurred.
Just after 2:30 a.m., authorities in Cayce received a call stating that Amtrak train 91 had derailed after colliding with the freight train.
As of 18 minutes ago, all passengers were removed from the train.
