Hornets New Menu And New Gear Will Have You Buzzin’
The Hornets allowed members of the media to taste test many of the new menu items that the Spectrum Center is offering this season. It did not disappoint.
New Executive Chef, Niko Marinos took the pulse of Charlotte and turned out an exciting and flavorful menu. It was hard to contain my excitement when going down the food line because everything looked so good. There was food for every type of palate. Ribs, Italian stromboli, Lobster BLT, Fried Mozzarella, and a turkey burger for your more health-conscious fan. All of these items will be available in the “Flight Deck” at Spectrum Center.
“Fan Friendly Pricing” is something the Hornets introduced last season and they decided to continue it this season. No doubt fans love this because hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, soda, and even beer prices are basically cut in half so you don’t have to break the bank on a night out at the game. Hornets President Fred Whitfield spoke for a few minutes and was very complimentary of the new menu and its creator, Executive Chef Niko Marinos. Niko talked in detail about his food and what his thought process was when creating each dish.

The Hornets also decided to roll out some new items from the team store. Some of the new swag has a nostalgic feel that takes you straight back to the 90’s.
