Would You Try A Mountain Top Open Air Hotel Room?
Could you stay in an ‘open air’ (think one wall only) hotel suite 3,937 feet above sea level, “atop a grassy hill in Switzerland, featuring panoramic views of the Swiss Alps…?”
Switzerland’s Null Stern Hotel rents this suite, complete with a ‘modern butler,’ who’ll pick you up at the the train station (just sit on the red bench) in the Gonten (train) station.
The website states, (the) “Null Stern Bed is in a Presidential Suite without walls or roof that sits at on the top of the Göbsi hill at an
altitude of 1,200m overlooking the Alpstein mountains…”
What about a bathroom? “While there are neither shower nor bath facilities, there is a WC (water closet) with self-service water supply
at your disposal located approximately 100m from the Null Stern Bed.”
Food and drink? Your butler will supply you and your partner a “copious breakfast served at your bed, non-alcoholic beverages (mineral water and soda), or snacks (and alcoholic beverages for an extra charge).
And the price for all of this ‘luxury’ for a one-night stay ? It’s approximately $202-303.12 (US currency).
Sweet dreams!
