Have You Ever Told Your Kid A “Little White Lie?”
If you’re a parent, there are time when you just have to bend the truth a bit with your kids. We’ve all done it for one reason or another and, as long as they’re only “little white lies,” we’re probably not doing any long-term psychological damage to our offspring.
In fact, some of those tiny fibs can turn into very funny stories that you tell for years. If you don’t have any of your own, just go to Twitter and type #WhiteLiesYouTellKids to find comedy gold, like this:
- “The monster under the bed is vegan.”
- “I can make you the same burger that McDonald’s sells at home.”
- “It’s the law, you can’t date until you’re 18 or older.”
- “They don’t make batteries for that toy anymore, aww sorry.”
- “The ice cream man plays music when he’s out of ice cream.”
- “The WiFi is down, so … no iPad for a while.”
- “I don’t know where your candy went.”
- “Daddy was on top of me because I was choking on something.”
- “Me and your mom were just wrestling, we’re huge WWE fans.”
- “If you don’t stop fighting, I’m going to turn this car around and we’re going to go home.”
