Do you like working with food and senior citizens? How do you feel about cool, damp weather? If you’re still interested, Queen Elizabeth II might have the perfect job for you in London. Her Royal Highness is hiring! Buckingham Palace needs a kitchen porter. This is from the official job description:
“You’ll join a committed kitchen team who work together to prepare and serve food to the very highest standards. By maintaining kitchen and clear-up areas you’ll ensure our chefs and assistants have all they need to deliver meals throughout the day. You’ll also on occasion assist with food preparation.”

Surprisingly, no previous kitchen experience is required. That’s because the palace staff will train you how to do things properly for the Queen. The salary for this full-time job is only $26,000 a year but the benefits are pretty good. You would have the option of living at Buckingham Palace with all meals provided, and enjoy 33 vacation days. If you want to fill out the application, you have to hurry. The deadline is Friday, August 24th.
