‘Gone With The Wind’ Blowing Back Into Theaters
If the names Scarlett O’Hara, Rhett Butler, Ashley Wilkes, and Tara mean anything to you, clear your calendar. Gone with the Wind is returning to theaters in celebration of the iconic film’s 80th anniversary.
By the time Gone with the Wind premiered on screen in 1939, Margaret Mitchell’s novel of the same name had already been a bestseller for three years. Movie fans around the world continue to be captivated by the American Civil War-era romance.
Fathom Events, a company which specializes in bringing Hollywood classics back to the big screen, has announced a two-day nationwide run for Gone with the Wind. Three theaters in our area will host screenings of the Oscar winner on February 28th and March 3rd:
