Amazing Photo Shoot Captures Girls As Athletes And Princesses
When I saw these photos, I knew I had to share them. This is truly awesome! Girl power!
Heather Mitchell is a mom and portrait photographer in Alabama. While at her daughter’s softball practice recently, Heather heard another mom say that she wished her daughter was a “girly girl”. This statement didn’t sit well with Heather. Heather wondered WHY should a little girl have to choose…and I am with her!
I grew up as a tomboy. I played outside, played sports, got dirty, and had fun. Girls shouldn’t have to choose. They can do whatever they want! Heck, I’m still a bit of a tomboy even as an adult. But I can be a bit of a tomboy AND still get my nails done! LOL! Why choose?
Obviously, Heather thought the same thing. She decided to do a photo shoot with girls dressed as athletes AND princesses. It gave me chills!
