Slow Down In North And South Carolina
If you missed it on the morning show, Mel got herself into a little trouble with the law on Easter Sunday. She was pulled over for speeding on I-85 near Gaffney, SC. I’ve ridden in her car before. I’m not surprised.
It shouldn’t be surprising that Mel got a ticket in South Carolina either. It’s one of the states where you’re most likely to get a speeding ticket, according to 24/7 Wall Street. In fact, it’s #2 on the list, based on the number of tickets issued per capita. North Carolina also made the top ten. Just because we live in NASCAR country, that doesn’t mean you can drop the hammer like it’s a Sunday at Darlington.
States Where You’re Most Likely To Get A Speeding Ticket:
- Wyoming
- South Carolina
- Oregon
- Georgia
- Washington
- Mississippi
- Arizona
- North Carolina
- South Dakota
- Utah
In case you’re wondering, West Virginia is the state where you’re least likely to get a ticket, with Michigan close behind. But no matter where you’re driving, please watch your speed. My kids are driving now, too.
