How Many Jobs Does A Mother Really Have?
What are you planning to give the mom(s) in your life for Mother’s Day? How about a raise?
The folks at Campbell’s Soup took a poll to figure out just how many jobs a mother really has. In addition to the more obvious responsibilities mom takes on, such as cooking and cleaning, the results show that she also devotes a lot of time to the education and wellness of her family.
There’s no 40-hour work week for mom. The research shows that she spends 97 hours per week parenting. If mom was paid for all the jobs she does, she’d bring in $100,460 a year. That comes out to around $19.91 per hour, which doesn’t seem like enough when you look at the list below. So, yeah, a raise would be good.
