It all started in Hialeah, Florida in 1973 when a part-time record label employee named Harry Wayne Casey assembled a group of studio musicians. They quickly became the disco phenomenon known as KC and the Sunshine Band. Fast forward forty-six years later and they’re still shining.

KC and the Sunshine Band are bringing their booty shaking boogie sound to Ovens Auditorium on Saturday, September 14th. The promoters might want to think about removing the seats because no one’s going to be sitting down when it’s time to get down that night.
