For some serious cash, you can vacation in the world’s first underwater hotel villa. YUP! You can actually sleep with the fishes.
That’s the experience offered at The Muraka. Located more than 16 feet below sea level in the middle of the Indian Ocean with glass walls, The Muraka is a two-level aquarium where you can fall asleep to fish swimming overhead.
The villa is in the Maldives, and has two levels. It sleeps nine guests, with the upper level looking out across the ocean. It even has a gym and a private area for security.
The bottom of the villa is underwater, so you are actually emerged in the ocean. It’s a trip! Of course, for this special event it’s gonna cost you. To sleep with the sharks it’ll cost you $50,000 a night! The 180 degree views of the ocean ain’t cheap.
