Oscar Meyer Wienermobile Will Now be an Airbnb
Ever thought about staying the night in a wienermobile? Well, now it’s possible thanks to Oscar Meyer.
The famous hot dog company just announced on their Twitter page that fans could rent the wienermobile on Airbnb. What better to celebrate #NationalHotDogDay!
You know we had to go big for #NationalHotDogDay! So, we turned America’s favorite 🌭 on wheels into a place to rest your head. Set a reminder for next Wednesday, when booking opens on @Airbnb and become one of the first guests in the @Wienermobile! 👏 https://t.co/wZEyAULdk5 pic.twitter.com/EkfZBAfoiz

Set a reminder: the wienermobile, which will accommodate two guests, will be available for booking on Airbnb beginning July 24. The Chicago-based wienermobile will be listed as a “camper/RV” and it is quite decked out. It has a comfy bed, a fridge filled with hot dogs (of course), an Oscar Meyer roller grill, welcome kits, and even a fancy throw pillow that says “I’m just here for the hot dogs.” There is also a cozy patio area for guests to lounge and hang out.
Sadly, or maybe not sadly, the wienermobile will not have a TV or wifi. It will also not have heat, a kitchen, or a washer. But, hey, it does have a bathroom.
CNN reports that if staying in the wienermobile isn’t enough, fans can relish in the opportunity to drive it. Oscar Meyer is currently looking for graduating college seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA to drive the vehicle full-time, paid of course. Apply to be a “hotdogger” on the website.
