There are so many choices: Ring, Nest, SimpliSafe, Vivint. Many Americans have these security cameras at their front doors for added peace of mind.
Sure, having the ability to watch over the activities at your home can help to prevent break-ins and porch piracy. But there’s another benefit to installing a security camera at your front door: wildlife! The Vivint salesperson who recently knocked on my door didn’t mention this. If he had, he might have made the sale.
