Woman Sneaks On A Plane
A woman boarded her flight from Orlando heading to Atlanta over the weekend only to find another woman in her seat, who when questioned by airline officials couldn’t produce a boarding pass or identification.
Law enforcement responded and escorted the woman off the plane. Meanwhile, the entire plane had to deboard and subject to a second security screening. The investigation into exactly how the woman made it on to the plane is ongoing, with FBI involvement, however, TSA has stated she did, in fact, pass through a security checkpoint.
Delta issued to following statement about the matter:
“Delta apologizes to customers of Flight 1516 for the delay after a person not ticketed for that flight was removed from the aircraft,” Durrant said. “Security officials then directed a precautionary rescreen of everyone onboard. Delta is working with local law enforcement and the Transportation Security Administration on their investigation and we are conducting our own review of this as well. Safety and security is always our top priority.”
I can’t even make it through security with a liquid over 3 ounces and this lady could get through without an ID? Someone must be getting fired over this.
