Want To Look Like J.Lo? Prepare For The ‘Boring Diet’
Jennifer Lopez might be old enough for AARP discounts, but you’d never know it based on her appearance. All of America was wondering how she’s able look and move the way she did during her Super Bowl performance. Is 50 the new 29, or has J.Lo simply cracked the code to eternal youth and beauty?
Part of Jennifer’s secret may lie in her diet. Her trainers have revealed what she eats in a typical day. It certainly looks healthy and nutritious, but it’s about as dull as doing your taxes. I don’t know if this meal plan has a name but I call it the “Boring Diet.”
Breakfast: Protein shake made with berries, Greek yogurt, honey, cinnamon and ice; OR oatmeal with berries.
Lunch: Salmon salad with zucchini, bell peppers, broccoli, and a drizzle of vinaigrette.
Snacks: Handful of nuts, fresh fruit and veggies.
Dinner: Lean protein like chicken breast, veggies, and a complex carb like brown rice or sweet potatoes.
That chicken breast would be whole lot better breaded, fried, and covered with tomato sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. The “Boring Diet” does allow for a few indulgences, such as chocolate chip cookies, chocolate chip ice cream, cake — all in moderation, of course. But, overall, clean eating helps J.Lo get her results. After all, no one gets fit on beer and nachos.
