What is the perfect piece of toast? Obviously, that answer varies depending on the person. Do you like crispy edges or barely toasted? Butter or jam or both? This simple question has caused quite the ruckus on Twitter.

One man believes he's perfected the art of toast making, and he took to Twitter earlier this week to share his masterpiece with the world. Twitter user @callumismyname0 posted a close-up photo what he called "the perfect toast."  The toast had brown marks around the edges with an amble amount of butter on it. Looks delicious!

You wouldn't think something as mundane as toast would cause a big reaction on Twitter, but it did! The post quickly garnered more than 400 comments and 72,000 likes. ALL for toast!

Many folks on Twitter agreed with the "perfect toast" pic, while others shared their idea of the perfect piece. I'm totally with pic above....looks perfect to me! I asked Phil to weigh in on the debate and he said he likes his toast a bit under-toasted, still a lil soft. He said his wife likes her toast almost burnt.  Must be why there's so many settings on a toaster.

I'll say this....after talking about toast and looking at the pic above, I NOW want some toast. Lunch plans made!
