For the last two months, I haven't really been social. Due to some medical issues, I've been staying home on the weekends, and haven't been socializing with friends like I used to.

Because of this, I've realized how EASY it is for Americans to become "shut-ins" and "antisocial". You can now order everything online, food included!

With Doordash, Grubhub, and other food delivery services, you can get whatever you're craving delivered right to your door. And now that includes Krispy Kreme donuts. On February 29, Krispy Kreme will begin delivering hot and fresh donuts all over the U.S. This marks the first time that nearly every single U.S. shop will be getting access to Krispy Kreme delivery.

The fat girl in me sees the bonus of this! You no longer have to go get your "hot and now" from a store. BUT, some of the fun of getting Krispy Kreme IS going to a shop and hoping that sign is on.

Maybe it's because I've gained some weight over the last few months, but part of me totally sees how food delivery could be bad. I mean, it's great if you're not in the mood to deal with folks or if you're sick, but it can definitely contribute to obesity. And to laziness.

That said, I have no doubt this will be huge for the Krispy Kreme folks.  And if you're pregnant and due this week, you can score free donuts if you're baby is born on Leap Day. Grab details here.  Happy eating!
