Westminster Dog Show Judge Lets Girl With Autisum “Show” Her Stuffed Animal
Before 5:30 A.M. this morning, I read this story and watched the video. Just the headline made me smile. I didn’t realize that I’d get all teary eyed though. This will make your day but you may wanna have a tissue handy….you know, for your allergies. đ
The Westminster Dog Show is all about the dogs, but this year one of the judges showcased kindness. At the event, one of the judges noticed a little girl watching from the audience. She was holding a stuffed animal puppy in her hands. The judge was very perceptive and noticed that the little girl was autistic.
The judge brought the little girl onto the floor, and inspected her stuffed puppy as he would one of the real dogs in the show. The judge then invited her to show her dog as the other presenters had. She jumped at the chance, walking her puppy in a short arc like a pro. She was so excited, she gave the judge a big hug as the audience clapped and cheered.
This is the SWEETEST! With all the stuff in the news about the Coronavirus and violence and crime, this was a delight to see! Love it! What a sweet man and what an awesome memory for this little girl.

The girl had autism, and she'd brought her stuffed animal.
So the judge stopped, walked over to her, and asked if she wanted to show her dog, just like the others.
This is what happened.
