Post Malone: Facing Backlash For Playing A Show Despite Coronavirus Concerns
Fans are upset at Post Malone after he performed in Denver last night. Despite concerts and events all over the world getting canceled because of coronavirus, Post played his sold-out show at the Pepsi Center. Blake Shelton was scheduled to play the same venue this weekend, but that show was canceled.
The Pepsi Center Tweeted the status of the show, saying, “Tonight’s Post Malone concert at Pepsi Center is proceeding as scheduled. We continue to monitor the current COVID-19 situation with local, state and federal authorities. Please continue to monitor venue websites & social media channels regarding any updates to upcoming events.”

Post Malone is what the Corona Virus would look like if it were a person

In light of everything else being cancelled (even smaller events) this seems like a poor decision.

No NBA, NHL, March Madness, parade etc and you are still doing concerts? #crazyworld #COVD19 #concert #pepsicenter #notgood

Was really looking forward to this show tonight but with every major event in the United States being shut down I called for a refund and was denied. Really hope @PostMalone and @pepsicenter reconsider. Not worth risking people’s safety.

Despite the outrage for Post not canceling, video shows that the concert was still packed.
Getting more video from inside @pepsicenter. Thought I was seeing empty seats for @PostMalone in the middle of COVID-19 outbreak. Turns out... it’s packed. So much for social distancing. #9News pic.twitter.com/8uPbHN0lEi
