Your Next Car Wash Might Cost A Little More But For A Good Reason
I’ve never done so much house cleaning in my life as I have in the past week, and I know I’m not alone. We’re all wiping down every surface that might come into contact with human hands. I’ve even started spraying my keys with Lysol. And the inside of my car is pristine. The outside, of course, is getting a daily dose of pollen. Yay, spring! Time to hit the car wash.
The next time you roll through an Autobell Car Wash, you may notice the price has gone up a little bit but it’s for a good reason. Company president/CEO Chuck Howard told The Charlotte Observer that Autobell has temporarily added a “hospital-grade” disinfectant spray to all interior car cleanings in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
After Autobell employees finish cleaning the interior of your vehicle, they also apply the disinfectant to door handles, the steering wheel, gear shift and any other areas that are likely to be touched. The disinfectant is mandatory and costs an additional $3. I think it’s a small price to pay for some peace of mind.
