Fun Stay-At-Home Activities For Little Racing Fans
NASCAR is close to putting drivers on the track again, albeit without fans in the stands. Yahoo! Sports reports that the 2020 season will resume with the May 17th race at Darlington. North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper has also given the green light for the running of the Coca-Cola 600 in Concord on May 24th.
Until then, little racing fans can stay connected to the cars that go vroom with some fun stay-at-home activities, such as coloring pages, mazes, and word puzzles. Charlotte Motor Speedway has free NASCAR-themed activity pages. Texas Motor Speedway is offering free NASCAR- and IndyCar-themed games.
Phil Harris is 50% of "Phil & Mel in the Afternoon" on K104.7. He has been with the station since 2013 and on the air in Charlotte since 2000. Before coming to the Queen City, Phil worked for radio stations in Pittsburgh, Austin, and Seattle. In addition to the weekly "Throwback Threesome" music video feature, Phil writes about things that matter to Charlotte sports fans and pet owners. He happens to be both.
