Darius Rucker Teases Summer Collaboration With Lady A
Darius Rucker did an interview with the Grand Ole Opry and revealed that he and Lady A will collaborate on a new song.
“I have a new single coming out this summer with Lady A. I’m really excited and can’t wait for people to hear it. It’s a lot of fun.” He didn’t mention the song’s title.
Rucker also revealed that during the quarantine, he has moved from his longtime residence in Charleston, South Carolina. He said, “I kicked my summer off by moving to Nashville — it’s been a lot of fun.”
He also discussed what he’s been up to lately: “Mostly doing a lot of songwriting, actually tons of writing — being around the house, doing stuff around the house that I never get time for, you know. And playing golf when the course is open. It has been crazy and tough, and I miss playing music a lot. I’ve been spending a lot of time and getting closer with the kids. I haven’t been home this long since I was in college.”
Darius has just announced a drive-in concert with Brad Paisley. He posted to Instagram, “Man, I’ve missed playing music! Time to change that. Excited to hit the stage in Nashville on July 12 for @livenation’s Live From The Drive-In Concert Series. Tickets go on sale THIS Friday, 6/26.”
