Booze Is Back On Some Delta Flights
Can’t imagine flying without a drink in your hand? We get it. Well, as of July 2nd, Delta Airlines is bringing back the booze to its longer domestic flights.
Delta had stopped alcohol services when the coronavirus began spreading across the nation. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that alcohol beverage service will initially be limited to first-class and Complus Plus passengers on flights over 500 miles in the U.S.
According to Delta, the return of alcohol service is part of their safety initiative which also includes social distancing, cleanliness, and seating capacity. It’s probably better to have passengers slightly sedated during these turbulent times. Again, we get it.
