160 Walmart Supercenter Parking Lots Will Become Drive-In Movie Theaters
It’s official: the drive-in theater is back! I never thought I would see drive-in movies become popular again in my lifetime, but 2020 has been sort of an unpredictable year.
Walmart is helping to spur the drive-in movie renaissance during these times of social distancing. CNN reports that Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Enterprises is helping to transform 160 Walmart Supercenter parking lots into pop-up drive-in theaters.
Specific locations and movie titles haven’t been announced but the screenings are expected to run from August through October. Walmart says we’ll be able order snacks from the store and get it at curbside pickup before the movie begins. You can check for more details HERE.
