The North Face Has A Virtual Cure For Summer Boredom
I’m a parent so I know as well as anyone that kids get bored in the summer. It’s especially rough between the 4th of July and back-to-school time. And with social distancing, this summer has been especially challenging for families looking for things to do. Fortunately, The North Face has created a safe solution. And the best part is that it’s totally free!
The outdoor clothing and gear brand is offering a two-week virtual summer camp to keep kids busy, entertained and interested in nature. The North Face Summer Base Camp runs from Monday, July 20th through Friday, July 31st. It includes half-day sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday over that two-week period.
Each day will offer a unique interactive activity hosted by The North Face global team athletes. Sessions include adventure photography, survival skills, mapmaking, and even a lesson about preparing snacks for your next outdoor adventure. You can check out the full schedule on the official camp webpage.
