Costco Membership Now Includes A Few Extras
My wife and I recently joined Costco. It has changed my life. To paraphrase Ron Swanson from “Parks and Recreation,” it’s now where I buy all my food and most of my stuff. I especially like the cheap gas and amazing $1.50 hot dog and soda deal. Since joining, I’ve also purchased a laptop, vacuum cleaner, cutlery, a pair of sneakers, a sun shade for my windshield, and a bag of pistachios the size of a pillow at Costco. They have everything!
If you’ve been thinking about hopping aboard the Costco train, this is a good time to do it. Charlotte on the Cheap reports that Costco now has a Groupon offer which includes some bonuses. When you pay the regular price of $60 for a new one-year Gold Star membership (with auto-renewal) on a Visa credit or debit card, you’ll also get the following:
- A $40 Costco shop card that is valid toward any purchase, including gas
- $40 off any order of $250 or more on Costco.com
- A membership card for the primary cardholder and one additional household card for anyone living at the same address over the age of 18
