Kelsea Ballerini: Something ‘Beautiful’ Will Come From CMA Awards Disappointment
Kelsea Ballerini’s name was not mentioned once this morning (9/1) when the 2020 CMA nominations were announced, surprising her fans. Ballerini was also surprised: she’s not one to mince words or hide her emotions, and she addressed the announcement on Twitter.
“Last time this happened, I wrote homecoming queen the next day about the feeling,” she said, referring to her hit song “Homecoming Queen.”
“Something beautiful will undoubtedly come from the current disappointment. nonetheless, congratulations to my friends & peers that got nominations. proud to be a part of the country family, always.”
Kane Brown, who was also left out of nominations, was the first to reply to her saying, “Hold your head up.”
