CBS Bringing Frosty, Rudolph And More To The Holidays
The sting of the Peanuts holiday specials disappearing from network TV might still be fresh for a lot of us, but all is not lost. CBS has announced a strong lineup of animated Christmas programming beginning the day after Thanksgiving. It all starts with the 1969 classic, Frosty the Snowman. Here’s the schedule:
Friday, November 27
- Frosty the Snowman, 8:00 PM (Jimmy Durante, Jackie Vernon)
- Frosty Returns, 8:30 PM (Jonathan Winters, John Goodman)
Saturday, November 28
- Robbie the Reindeer: Hooves of Fire, 8:00 PM (Ben Stiller, Jim Belushi)
- Robbie the Reindeer: Legend of the Lost Tribe, 8:30 PM (Ben Stiller, Jim Belushi, Hugh Grant, Britney Spears, James Woods, Leah Remini, Jerry Stiller)
- The Story of Santa Claus, 9:00 PM (Ed Asner, Betty White, Tim Curry)
Tuesday, December 1
- Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, 8:00 PM (Burl Ives)
