Is That An i-Phone In A Painting From 1860?
Have you seen the painting from 1860 called “The Expected One” by Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller (see link below story to see the painting). Unlikely that you have, as it’s fairly random and maybe NOT one you would have studied in art class. Of course, we know that the subject of the painting, a young girl walking down a country path is certainly NOT a “Time Traveler” looking at her iphone?… or do we?
It makes you do a “double take” and sure LOOKS like she’s holding an iPhone and maybe even looking down at the screen. You know, like just about everyone you pass nowadays.
Some people MIGHT say she’s actually holding a small prayer book, but don’t we know an iPhone when we see one? Makes you wonder.
