Morgan Wallen On SNL Skit: ‘I’m Not Too Good To Make Fun Of Myself’
Morgan Wallen says that he really enjoyed doing a skit on Saturday Night Live earlier this month (12/5). Wallen, of course, was bumped from the show in October after he partied maskless with college girls in Alabama.
In addition to singing his two songs on SNL, he played himself in a skit about the incident that originally got him bumped from the show. Morgan told us, “They pitched this idea earlier in the week before we got up to New York and I was all in.”
He added, “You know, a lot of these people that watch SNL they’re not necessarily country music fans so I knew that really their only impression of me was them thinking I’m a jackass. So I wanted them to see a more human side and kind of see that I’m not too good to make fun of myself. You know, that I don’t take myself too seriously and I wanted them to see the human side of me not just the headline side of me.”
