An old machine is getting new life thanks to LEGO. The company announced a new set that allows builders to put together a manual typewriter.

According to the International Business Times, the LEGO Ideas 21327 Typewriter set contains 2,079 pieces. What's really impressive is that the keys and carriage move, and you can even load a sheet of paper in it.

The typewriter set is the brainchild of a British man named Steve Guinness. He submitted his vision to LEGO Ideas, a platform which invites fans to put their own designs up for public vote. If a submission gets at least 10,000 votes, it can move to the next phase. Another recent fan-generated set was the LEGO Grand Piano.

The LEGO Ideas Typewriter will retail for $199.99 and be available to purchase for LEGO VIP members on June 16. The general release is scheduled for July 1. Learn more about it in the video below:
