Krispy Kreme Supermoon Doughnut Available For One Day Only
Science and food will meet up this Thursday in a super fun way! Krispy Kreme is celebrating the final “supermoon” of the year with their all-new Strawberry Supermoon Doughnut.
Made to look like Krispy Kreme’s own “supermoon,” the Strawberry Supermoon Doughnut features a yeast shell doughnut filled with Strawberry Kreme. It’s then dipped in Strawberries and Kreme icing, and topped with graham cracker “moon dust.” It may be one of the prettiest doughnuts I’ve ever seen. The special treat is available for one day only, this Thursday, June 24.
June’s full moon is called the Strawberry Moon because it occurs during harvesting season for strawberries in the northeastern US. It also happens to be the third consecutive month for a “supermoon,” which is rare. It happens when the moon is orbiting closest to earth, making it appear larger and brighter.
If you’re looking for a sugar rush this week, Thursday’s the day!
FOR ONE DAY ONLY, 6/24! Stargaze at the final Supermoon of 2021 w/an all new doughnut! 🍓🌑
