Billie Eilish Slams Texas Abortion Law From Austin City Limits Stage
Billie Eilish has spoken out against Texas’ restrictive new law banning abortions while performing at the Austin City Limits Festival over the weekend.
During her show, the 19-year-old admitted that she considered backing out of her Austin show over its state’s stance, Yahoo! reported. Per the new law, private citizens are able to sue providers or anyone helping a woman get an abortion.
The words “Bans Off Our Bodies” flashed on the screen behind the “Your Power” singer, who took a moment to address the issue. “I’m sick and tired of old men,” she said. “Shut the f— up about our bodies.”
She continued, “When they made that s— a law, I almost didn’t want to do the show, because I wanted to punish this f—ing place for allowing that to happen here. But then, I remembered that it’s you guys that are the f—ing victims, and you deserve everything in the world.”
As the crowd roared, she added, “We need to tell them to shut the f— up! Look at this,” She said while raising her middle finger, shouting, “My body, my f—ing choice!”

Apparently, Eilish also came for climate change deniers saying, “If you don’t think global warming exists, you’re a f—ing loser.” She previously lashed out against the Texas law in September, days after the ban went into effect.
“I’m so f—ing tired,” she wrote on Instagram stories at the time. “Makes me sick how many men say nothing when it comes to women’s rights.”
