Volkswagen Built A Chair That Will Make You Want To Go Back To The Office
Many Americans who started working from home during the pandemic say they never want to go back to the office. Really? Maybe the problem is that your chair at the office doesn’t do anything other than support your butt. What if your office chair did more?
CNN reports that Volkswagen has built an office chair that would make any Star Trek captain jealous. Volkswagen Norway’s Commercial Vehicles department unveiled an office chair prototype that resembles their EV cars. That’s because you can actually drive the chair around the office.
The chair has a seat belt, horn, heated seat, tow hitch, entertainment system with speakers, party lights, and…wait for it…a top speed of 12 miles per hour. Sure, you won’t get as many steps in at work driving from your desk to the break room, but you have to admit it looks fun.
