Celebrating Anti-Valentine’s Day this year? Well, next month you can drink some “bad blood” and “shake it off” at a Taylor Swift-inspired pop-up bar. It caters to those who are single and hate the holiday. The bar, fittingly named Bad Blood, will be open from February 3 to 26 in Chicago’s West Loop area.
“’Got a long list of ex-lovers?’ Hop on the waitlist for this exclusive (anti) Valentine’s pop-up and get ready to plot your post breakup comeback,” reads an Instagram post from @ChicagoBucketList, a travel page for the city.

A $22 general admission ticket for a 90-minute slot that can be reserved in advance on Chicago Bucket Listers will get you a free themed welcome cocktail, karaoke for you to belt out your favorite breakup songs, fun photo ops to make your ex jealous, on-site tarot-card readers, and a chance to spin the “Shake It Off Wheel of Cocktails.” “Whether you want to sing about your lover, those who were never yours, those you’re never getting back together with, or those who still have your scarf, this is the perfect place for you,” reads the event page.
Swift, 33, has been in a relationship with Joe Alwyn, 31, for the last six years. The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter was first linked to British actor Joe Alwyn in May 2017. That was when it was revealed that the pair had reportedly been quietly dating for months. It’s not clear exactly when they met. But fans have speculated that Swift and Alwyn first crossed paths at the 2016 Met Gala.
While discussing her latest album, Midnights, Swift mentioned the challenges of love in the spotlight on Instagram. “If the world finds out that you’re in love with somebody, they’re gonna weigh in on it,” she said. “Like my relationship for six years, we’ve had to dodge weird rumors, tabloid stuff, and we just ignore it. And so this song is sort of about the act of ignoring that stuff to protect the real stuff.”
Swift was referring to her song “Lavender Haze” off the new album, which was named after a common phrase from the 1950s that described being in love. As we previously reported, Alwyn, was credited as co-writer for the 12th track “Sweet Nothing,” under the pseudonym of William Bowery. The Conversations With Friends star has previously written songs with Swift under the pseudonym. He has previously been credited for songs from her 2020 Folklore and Evermore albums — which included “exile,” “betty” and “champagne problems.”
