Old Navy Guarantees Their School Uniforms Are Tough Enough For Your Kids
Whether you’re ready or not, it’s time to start thinking about back-to-school shopping. That fun little chore typically includes taking your kids to get some new clothes. Of course, one of two things will happen by Christmas. Your kids will either wear out or outgrow those new clothes. Been there, done that, bought more t-shirts. Well, the good folks at Old Navy are helping to make sure you get your money’s worth with a new program.
In a media release, Old Navy has announced a new one-year “kid-proof guarantee” that covers school uniforms. Sarah Holme, the retailer’s head of design and product development, says, “At Old Navy, we understand the demands of a busy school year. That’s why our uniform products are made using durable fabrics that are proven to be built to last.”
The guarantee promises that if products “don’t stand up to the wear and tear of a school year,” they can be returned for a full refund. It includes a range of uniform items in kids and adult sizes that are marked with the “one-year guarantee” badge on the Old Navy site and are purchased between now and September 30th. You’ll just need the original receipt to get your money back.
We all know how tough kids can be on clothes. At least now if you buy your kid uniforms and they don’t last for the whole school year, you’ll be able to get a refund. It’s too bad this guarantee doesn’t apply to all Old Navy clothes for kids. But that wouldn’t be a sustainable business model. Before long, they’d be Broke Navy.
