Adele Wants to Have Another Baby Soon
Adele attends game three of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Denver Nuggets at Crypto.com Arena on May 20, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.
Adele already has some names for her second child! The 35-year-old was recently trying to help a fan during her Las Vegas residency show and revealed some of her own personal information in the process. In videos circulating TikTok over the weekend, Adele approaches a fan at her show who asks the “Easy on Me” singer to help her pick a name for her future daughter. That’s when Adele reveals to the audience, “I really want to be a mum again soon, so every time I see a name I like, I write it down in my phone.” Adele already shares 10-year-old son Angelo with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki.
Coincidences In Vegas
In trying to help the fan come up with names, she asked if she has a favorite letter. The fan notes that she likes boy names for girls. Adele’s eyes light up, and is in agreement, stating, “Me too!” The fan tells Adele she is trying to decide between the names Parker or Spencer for her little girl. Unfortunately for the fan, Adele already thought of that name for herself and her boyfriend, Rich Paul. She says, “Well, I can’t say Parker because Rich likes that name.” She also notes that she likes the name Ray, and the woman is shocked, revealing that Ray is set to be her daughter’s middle name. The coincidences between the two cause Adele to say, “Look at us, look at us! So in sync.”
This isn’t the first time Adele has had babies on her brain. Back in August 2022, Adele told Elle about the possibility of expanding her family, saying she “definitely” wanted to have more children in the future. She told the publication at the time, “I’m a homemaker and I’m a matriarch, and a stable life helps me with my music. But right now, all I got in my brain is Vegas. I wanna f—ing nail it.”
James Corden's 10 Best Carpool Karaoke Segments
With the Late Late Show ending this week, so will all its fun segments. Carpool Karaoke has become a fan-favorite since it began eight years ago, featuring a multitude of guests. On the final segment featuring a longtime friend of host James Corden, Adele asked him to dish on his favorite past moments and hardships.
Corden admitted that it was really hard to book celebrities to take part in the series. “No one would do it,” he said. “Everyone on planet Earth said ‘no.'” And when he finally got Mariah Carey on board, she only agreed to be on the segment — not to sing. This was a crucial part of the series, of course, so Corden did the best he could do: try to bait her into singing. As 1995’s “Always Be My Baby” begins playing in the car, Mariah immediately knew what he was up to.
Playing coy, Corden said with a huge grin, “It’s a new car, so I don’t know how to change the radio station.” The diva hummed along nonchalantly at first, even telling the television host that she wasn’t going to sing. “I’m not singing today, I was up all night,” she said at the time. Then all of a sudden, Carey began to sing along to the song. Sixty episodes later, the Carpool Karaoke series became a success. As Adele described in the final segment, “there’s been some bloody brilliant ones and a few s— ones, obviously.”
After Mariah, Corden had Justin Bieber (four times), Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Sia, Selena Gomez, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Britney Spears, and so many more.
