Charlotte 49ers Bound For Bahamas Bowl

Pack your swimsuits, Niner Nation. The Charlotte 49ers have accepted an invitation to play in the Makers Wanted Bahamas Bowl. It’s their first college bowl game appearance in team history.

Led by first-year head coach Will Healy, Charlotte finished the 2019 regular season with a program-best overall record of 7-5. They were 5-3 in Conference USA play. The 49ers clinched a bowl bid with their win over Marshall on November 23rd.

Charlotte will face Buffalo, also 7-5, on Friday, December 20th at Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau, Bahamas. Kickoff is at 2:00 PM with TV coverage on ESPN. You’ll find information about tickets and travel arrangements in the links below.
