Watch: Thomas Rhett Sings With Sesame Street Characters
Thomas Rhett was one of the celebrities paying tribute to Sesame Street at the Kennedy Center Honors, which aired on CBS last night. After an introduction from Elmo and actress Lucy Lu, Thomas Rhett sang with some of the most well-known Sesame Street characters including Big Bird, Grover and Cookie Monster. Then all the puppeteers and performers for the night came on stage for a group singing of “Sing a Song.”

Thomas posted to Instagram after the performance. “Amazing getting to meet these two @tomhanks @ritawilson.”
Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of.
