Kids Can Attend Virtual School At Discovery Place
Discovery Place is offering Charlotte families a new option for the 2020-21 school year. The Charlotte Weekly reports that children in kindergarten through fifth grade can attend school virtually at Discovery Place Science or Discovery Place Nature. It sounds great for the kids and working parents.
Through this new full-day School Camp program, students will be able to participate in their classroom lessons and work on their daily assignments in a quiet space under the supervision of Discovery Place team members. Following the virtual school day, the staff will provide science-related activities that align with the CMS curriculum. It’s like having a field trip every day!
Discovery Place says it has several COVID-19 health and safety protocols in place. The School Camp will run from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM weekdays beginning Monday, August 31st. For more information or to register, CLICK HERE.
