H&M Introduces Clothing Rental Service
As more Americans return to their offices, many are experiencing wardrobe dilemmas. Let’s face it, the pandemic had an effect on clothing sizes. Well, on our body sizes. Buying new clothes is certainly an option, but now guys can also rent them.
H&M is helping men go back to work with its first clothing rental service. ONE/SECOND/SUIT will allow guys to rent a suit for up to 24 hours and have it delivered it to their doorstep. According to Good Morning America, the focus is on men renting the suits for job interviews. There’s even an ad campaign to go with it, which you can see below.
The concept is reminiscent of Rent-a-Swag, the fictional business hatched by Tom Haverford on the sitcom Parks and Recreation. But that was for kids. H&M tested ONE/SECOND/SUIT in the UK and is now testing it in the US. The service is available for a limited time and boosts sustainability through men not having to buy suits as often. Of course, if you get the job, you may want to actually buy a few things for your closet.
