North Carolina & South Carolina Have Some Of The Best Online College Programs

If you’re thinking about getting a degree, but have a full-time job you can’t afford to quit, you might want to consider an online program. There are some really good ones out there, but the best option for you may depend on what you want to study.
U.S. News & World Report has just come out with their 2022 Best Online College Program rankings. They rated more than 1,700 college programs, including bachelor’s and graduate degrees in a variety of fields like business, engineering, education and nursing. A few schools in North and South Carolina rate very highly. That’s something to consider when looking at cost.
- Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Worldwide, Florida, and the University of Florida tie for the Best Online Bachelor’s Program. They’re followed by the Medical University of South Carolina and University of Illinois—Chicago.
- There is a three-way tie for the Best Online MBA program: Indiana University–Bloomington, University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, and the University of Southern California.
- Columbia University in New York City ranks highest for an online master’s in computer information technology, as well as for a masters in engineering.
- Ohio State University, University of Pittsburgh, and University of South Carolina are in a three-way tie for the best online program for a masters in nursing.
- Clemson University has the best online program for a masters in education.
