Carolina Cops May Be Featured In New Reality Show
Have you ever wondered what it’s really like to be one of the police officers you see everyday? You may soon get the chance to see exactly that. The Winston-Salem Journal reports that a London-based TV production company, The Garden Productions, is interested in featuring the Winston-Salem Police Department in a national, documentary-style TV show.
The series would be similar to Cops, but with more of an in-depth, “day in the life” look at law enforcement. The Garden Productions was initially drawn to the mid-sized Winston-Salem Police Department due to their strong community ties and female chief, Catrina Thompson.
The two organizations are still in the discussion phase, but if it all comes together, we’d likely see between six and ten episodes of the still-unnamed program, which would most likely air on the A&E cable network. Filming could begin as early as this fall.
