See Mom….TV CAN Be Good For You
My parents used to call me the “walking TV Guide” when I was a kid. I’ve always been a television fan. NOW there’s proof that watching television can be a total bonus!Watching “The Office” helped one man save a woman’s life after he performed CPR on her without any prior knowledge of how to do it. There was an episode of “The Office” that showed the staff learning CPR to the tune of the Bee Gee’s “Staying Alive” and when Cross Scott noticed a woman unconscious behind the wheel of her car, which was still moving, Scott’s adrenaline kicked in.
Scott smashed her window open with a rock to check her vitals, and when he realized the woman wasn’t breathing, Scott, assisted by another concerned driver who stopped to help, began performing chest compressions on her to the tempo of Bee Gees’ “Stayin’ Alive.”
Thank goodness that Scott watched “The Office” and remembered info from the CPR episode. See, TV CAN be good for not only you, but for others too! By the way, the woman was taken to the hospital and paramedics told Scott that her condition would have been way worse if it weren’t for him. Proof that entertainment can also be educational! I love a happy ending!
